As the name says, these rice krispies came about after a trip to Disneyland. The thick M&M filled rice krispies I had there had to be duplicated!! (and they’re pretty cheap to make too)
These are perfect for traveling snacks, I make them about every time we go on vacation. The M&M’s inside them are the perfect amount of chocolate, and they help keep car sickness at bay. This recipe is easy to make, it stores and travels well, and with just a few ingredients it’s fairly cheap as well.
Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter (8T)
- 2 small bags of marshmallows (or 1 large bag)
- 6-8 cups of krispy rice cereal
- 2 cups M&M's
- 1 t. vanilla (optional)
Instructions
Melt the butter in a pan. Once it's melted add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are melted. Remove from heat. Add vanilla (optional) then quickly pour in the cereal and stir! Add M&M's once the cereal is coated well. Pour immediately out into a greased pan and let set up until cooled.
Notes
*Tips: The marshmallow/cereal ratio is flexible and depends on your personal preference. Too little cereal will make these set up soft and chewy, to much cereal will make them set up hard & crispy.Once you start adding the cereal the marshmallows will instantly start setting up, so it's important to be quick with the stirring! If you add the M&M's too soon they will melt and break apart while your still stirring.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found
a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched
her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic
but I had to tell someone!
Superb post however , I was wanting to know if you could write a litte more on this
topic? I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
Bless you!
