After our bread test run that’s recommended to make sure everything is working fine we did our first batch- Asparagus! You need to try it.
We’ve heard great things about freeze dried asparagus. As a bonus, our local grocery store had it on sale for 98 cents a lb! I stocked up!
I cut the asparagus into 2″ sections, then froze it in gallon ziploc bags. After it had frozen someone mentioned seasoning it with garlic salt! Unfortunately, mine was already frozen at that time so the first batch went in with no seasoning. Next time Batman!
