This is by far the easiest and cheapest way to make a homemade all natural cleaner. It not only disinfects, but has a great smell, and you can make it for pennies on the dollar!

Place your citrus peels (I use oranges or lemons) in a mason jar, fill with white vinegar, and let it sit for at least 3 weeks before the first use.

After 3 weeks have passed pour a small amount of the concentrated liquid into a squirt bottle then fill the rest of the bottle up with water. Depending on what you’re cleaning you can balance your water/cleaner ratios. Typically I do 4:1 water:cleaner

Don’t worry about any vinegar smell….. the vinegar will evaporate and the smell will go with it!

That’s it! Super easy, super cheap, and you don’t have to worry about chemicals or anything else that would be unsafe- plus it only cost pennies to make and you were able to re-purpose the citrus peels that normally would have gone in the trash.

After a few months if you notice your peels getting faded you can throw them out and replace them. If they still have good color you can always add more vinegar to the jar as you use the cleaner.
