For those that enjoy Asian food, beef or broccoli they’ll love this recipe. It cooks in the crock pot so it’s a easy meal you throw in at lunch time and have ready for dinner time.

Beef & Broccoli

Serves: 8 Prep Time: Cooking Time:

  • 1 cup beef broth (I use bullion & water)
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 T. sesame oil
  • 1 T. minced garlic
  • 1 beef roast
  • 2 heads of broccoli cut up, or 1-2 bags of frozen broccoli
  • 2 T cornstarch


Add everything EXCEPT the broccoli & corn starch  in the crock pot and mix it up a little.  Cook on low for 5 hours, or on high for 2 1/2 hours.

Then take about 1/4 cup of the sauce from the crock pot and add 2 T corn starch.  Mix them together well then add back into the crock pot.  At this time add your broccoli. (frozen or fresh)
Cook for another 30 minutes or until the broccoli is cooked.

Serve over rice.
