This is the best recipe I’ve found for alfredo sauce. You can make this with or without chicken, and sometimes we add in veggies such as broccoli or peas. You can also use the sauce to make a vegetable lasagna.
- 1 cube of butter (1/2 cup)
- 1- 8oz cube of cream cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
Melt the butter & cream cheese together while whisking them until they are well blended. (this is the secret to making the sauce smooth- whisk them together until they are combined!)
Once they are combined add the milk, cheese, & garlic powder.
Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce begins to thicken.
