This is a super easy recipe for homemade nacho cheese sauce. You can use any kind of cheese your family likes, in fact, we will sometimes blend different types, and try different cheeses just to change it up a little. You can also vary the spiciness to your family’s taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 T cornstarch

Instructions

Add all to a stock pot and cook until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened.

Notes

You can do variations of this recipe by using different kinds of cheese. You can also make it more spicy by adding diced green chilis, paprika, or your favorite spicy ingredients. It's a great base to a cheese sauce with unlimited variation options!
