Last night we had some rhodes roll dough left over from making dinner and so I got a little creative, and boy did it work out!!

Using the rhodes dough I made some cinnamon rolls- but instead of cinnamon I used my fresh strawberry freezer jam! Frosting them with cream cheese frosting made them Strawberries & Cream rolls. We will be making these again! Sooooo good!

  • Rhodes Rolls- defrosted and rolled out
  • Strawberry Jam (I used my fresh freezer jam)
  • Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese- soft
  • 1 cube (8T) butter
  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • Milk to desired thickness (about 1/2 c or less)

Roll the dough out to a large square.  Spread the strawberry jam on the top.  Roll the dough into a long roll.  Cut with a knife or string and place on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until they start to get a little golden on top.

Mix all ingredients together until desired thickness adding milk if needed.

Frost the rolls & enjoy!
