CHICKEN COOP

by A to Z for Moms Like Me

While there was a sale at Cal Ranch for “chick days” we took advantage of the sale and purchased a chicken coop for $179 (normally $199).

The coop was pretty easy to assemble and my husband had it all together in less than 20 minutes. A cordless drill made things much faster. Once the coop was assembled it was ready for chicks! We put our lamp inside to keep the chicks warm, and since the chicks wont be using the outside part of the coop for awhile it made a great place to store our wood chips.

My hubby talked about making an additional chicken run that will come off the coop…. so we’ll see if we end up doing that. In the mean time, this is it!
