As part of this 30 Day share we will be sharing & posting pictures of the groceries we buy, receipts (to show purchase amounts & sales), the recipes we use to make meals, the meals we eat, the deals & coupons we use, the budget we use or save, the food storage items we stock up on, the freezer meals we make, the meals or treats we make to give away, etc.  This should be a fun adventure! OUR 30 DAY PLAN

THE BUDGET:  

$100- weekly date night with my hubby

$600- groceries & food storage

$100- pizza nights

THE MEALS:

We make most of our meals homemade and as close to scratch as possible.  Each of our 4 oldest kids have 1 night a week they are responsible to make dinner for the family.  We involve them with the budget goals, and sometimes the shopping as well.  The meals are typically planned out a week or more in advance, however, if there is a good sale at the grocery store we adjust the menu accordingly to benefit from the sale.

We will post the weekly meal assignments and the planned meals.

THE RECIPES:

A lot of the recipes we use are currently on my main blog- A to Z for Moms Like Me.  However, we will be adding them to this blog as we make/use them and our hopes is that they will be more user/printer friendly with the updated version.
