As a brownie-aholic you can imagine how distressed I was to find out that my Best Brownie recipe wouldn’t turn out ever since we moved to a lower elevation! For the past 2 years I have been on the hunt for a recipe that will work here and turn out the most amazing brownies I was used to. Finally I tried a recipe from my sister- that oddly enough when I made it at higher elevation was just okay, but making them here they turn out amazing!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. butter (3 cubes)- soft
- 3 c. sugar
- cream these two together then add the eggs one at a time-
- 6 eggs
- 2 t. vanilla
- 2 3/4 c. flour (the original recipe called for 3c. but I found at this elevation I need to cut back on flour a bit and my recipes will turn out better)
- 1 t. salt
- 3/4 c. cocoa powder
Instructions
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. (it usually takes about 25 mins for my oven)
Enjoy!
