HOMEMADE BBQ SAUCE

by A to Z for Moms Like Me

I got this recipe inspiration from this site, however I have altered the original recipe a bit like I always do.

This is the BEST BBQ sauce I have ever made! Even my hubby raved about it! We used it on a crock pot brisket and roast, then cooked some BBQ chicken with it, and then I added it to crock pot meatballs. SO good!

For my spice rub I used a seasoning called “Campfire” by The Drunken Butcher

There is just something about a homemade BBQ sauce that beats anything from a bottle. Once you see how simple it is to stir together a batch with pantry staples you already have, you will never go back to store bought. The best part is you can tweak the sweetness and the smokiness to match exactly what your family loves.

Make a double batch while you are at it. It keeps beautifully in the fridge for a couple of weeks, and it is perfect to have on hand for burgers, wings, pulled pork, or a quick weeknight chicken.
