This cobbler is one we make often, it’s easy and uses minimal ingredients which are all shelf stable. We usually make it in the Dutch oven and it can be made using freeze dried fruits, pie filling, or even canned/bottled fruit with or without the juices.
For the purpose of the video I made 3 fruit varieties in cupcake sizes so I could turn them out as min upside down cobblers. (that was the best way I could think of to show and take a picture of it)

Ingredients
- Thrive Life freeze dried fruit
- Brown sugar
- 12 T butter- melted
- Cinnamon sugar (optional)
- 1 boxed cake mix
- 12 oz can of soda pop
Instructions
Place the fruit in the bottom of your pan. Sprinkle about a tablespoon or so of brown sugar on top of the fruit, then drizzle some melted butter on top. In a bowl mix together the cake mix and soda pop until the batter looks like a normal cake batter. Pour the batter over the fruit in the pan and bake in the oven at 350F until the top is golden and the cake part is set. (not wiggly) Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for a special treat!
