Ribbon sandwiches are a layered mini sandwich served as a finger food or appetizer at parties or wedding receptions. They are very easy to make and can be done weeks in advance and frozen until the event.
If you are doing your own wedding reception food to save money this is a great item to serve!
The bread has to be custom ordered from a bakery or your grocery store bakery and can be customized to whatever color you want. Below are a few different filling ideas and a tutorial video:

Hi. I just discovered your site in my search for ribbon sandwich information. Your video is very informative, but can you tell mw where you got the multi color bread, or is it homemade? Thanks!
I custom ordered it from my local grocery store.
