If you love biscuits & sausage gravy but have never made it there’s no excuse now!! It’s so easy! We make it for dinner far more often than we make it for breakfast. It’s sooo good! And if you make lots of the gravy, it makes a delicious addition inside breakfast burritos too!
We usually serve this with chopped boiled potatoes & corn.
Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1# ground sausage (I always use Jimmy Dean Maple flavored)
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4-6 c. milk
- Seasonings options: chicken bullion, garlic powder/salt, salad seasoning, red robin seasoning, etc.
Instructions
Prepare biscuits according to the Bisquick box.
For gravy- cook sausage until brown, chopping it up as it cooks. Once it's brown add the butter and melt throughout. Once the butter is melted add flour and mix well until the flour is well coated. Slowly add the milk. (if you add it all at once you will get lumpy gravy) You can adjust the amount of milk to make the gravy thick or thin as your family prefers- keeping in mind it will thicken as it cooks. Then let boil/cook until it thickens. Once it is the desired thickness serve over biscuits, potatoes, or inside breakfast burritos.
