STUFFED MUSHROOMS

STUFFED MUSHROOMS

These stuffed mushrooms are easy and delicious. We make them quite often for get togethers and bbq’s with neighbors. They are easy to change up slightly with different seasonings, or by topping with cheese.

To make these in just a few minutes, I use Thrive Life freeze dried ingredients. You can use fresh- it would just take a few minutes to cook the sausage first.

Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8oz whole mushrooms
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 c Thrive Life sausage crumbles
  • 2 T Thrive Life green onions
  • 4 T Olive Garden Italian Dressing

Instructions

*DO NOT WASH MUSHROOMS.  It will make them rubbery.  Just use a damp paper towel to wipe off any excess dirt and remove the stems.

Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, sausage, onions, and dressing in a bowl until well mixed.  Then spoon a generous amount into each mushroom cap and place stuffing side up in a casserole dish.

Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until the tops of the stuffing starts to get slightly golden.
