Having freeze dried fruits like strawberries means you can make fresh jam in minutes! No pectin needed!
All you have to do is blend the freeze dried fruit up to the consistency you desire (chunks or smooth) and add sugar at a 2:1 ratio, and the same amount of water as the powdered fruit. Mix together and set aside for a few minutes to rehydrate.
For Strawberry applesauce just add powdered strawberries to your applesauce to your taste.
